• Participants from Paris Dauphine University visited
Qatar in early May
• Series of meetings arranged with professionals from
across renowned financial institutions
QInvest, Qatar's leading investment bank and one of the most prominent Islamic financial institutions in the world, announces that it was part of an elite group of Islamic financial institutions selected to host 18 graduates of the Executive Master’s Program in Islamic Finance at Paris Dauphine University, one of the top five European universities for accounting and finance, as part of their 2014 International Academic visit to Qatar in May 2014.
The graduates were provided with the opportunity to strengthen their relationships with senior professionals at QInvest and listen to presentations by Bernard Barbour, Head of Legal, Compliance & Sharia'a Affairs; Hani Ibrahim, Head of Debt Capital Markets and Dr Ataf Ahmed, Head of Asset Management. They also met with other senior members of the Company including Duncan Walker, Chief Operating Officer; Essa Saud Al-Kawari, Head of Government & Community Relations and Administration Affairs, and Bassel Hanbali, Head of Marketing, Corporate Communications & Investor Relations and the organizer of this event.

Taking place from 26th April to 11th May, the Paris
Dauphine University International Academic Visit across
the Middle East included visits to Bahrain, the UAE and
Qatar. The visit ended with a Charity 5 a-side football
tournament organized by the students and « Elite 5 Events
» at the Aspire complex.
