QInvest, Qatar’s leading investment group and one of the most prominent Islamic financial institutions globally, announces that it has been selected as ‘Sukuk Manager of the Year’ by Global Investor/ISF.
Global Investor/ISF has named QINVEST along top performers in the MENA region, at the MENA Capital Markets Summit which took place at the Atlantis in Dubai, including Barclays: Wealth Manager of the Year, QInvest: Sukuk Manager of the Year, JPMorgan: Custodian of the Year, HSBC: Sub-Custodian of the Year, NASDAQ OMX: FinTech Vendor, Deutsche Bank: Fund Administrator, QFC: Financial Centre of the Year, and Citi: Transition Manager of the Year.
Commenting on the award, Nasser Al Mahmoud, Managing
Director and Head of Strategic Relations at QInvest,

founded in 2007 – but its performance in 2014 was
outstanding. Revenues were up 134% and net profit jumped
eightfold, driven largely by sukuk issuance via its
investment banking arm.”
QInvest previously announced the completion of its debut US$ 200 million five year syndicated facility. The facility was in line with the bank’s funding diversification and capital efficiency plan and was arranged by QInvest’s key regional and international relationship banks, namely Masraf Al Rayan, Al Khaliji France S.A. and Natixis. Additionally, the bank had reported its results for the third quarter of 2015 with revenues increasing 37% to US$ 78.7 million and net profit rising 69% to US$ 33.8 million demonstrating commitment to drive growth and innovation across the business, source new opportunities, strengthen the brand and deliver positive returns.
